McDONALD'S OPENS DOORS TO ITS NEW LOOK IN HATBORO

Local organizations to benefit from grand re-opening event

HATBORO PA – The iconic Golden Arches of Hatboro has a fresh and modern look! As McDonald's contemporizes its restaurants across the country, the Hatboro McDonald's will unveil its dynamic redesign during a grand re-opening celebration on Monday, November 14th. The restaurant is located at 121 N. York Road, Hatboro.

"We're changing with the times – and we never stop looking for ways to improve", said Chris Gabriel, Owner Operator. "This new McDonald's speaks to the needs of our customers and our community. We want our customers to enjoy every part of the McDonald's experience.

Modern exterior design changes include
- A welcoming and inviting entry into the restaurant
- A double Drive Thru for enhanced, on-the-go service

Upscale and contemporary interior décor consists of:
- Modern seating and furniture, including booths, chairs and high seated tables with wonderful views of Main Street Hatboro.

To celebrate the grand opening of the Hatboro location a weeklong event is planned December 5-11th . Events include a visit from the Phillie Phanatic on Wednesday, Dec. 7th from 6 – 7PM, Free Coke glasses when you try our new Tandem Drive Thru on Thursday, Dec. 8th, Radio Station B-101 on Friday, December 9th from 5 – 7PM, and Ronald McDonald on Sunday, December 11th from 1 – 3PM

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Monday, November 14th at 10AM. Local organizations and township officials will be present to help officiate the opening.

A "giant check" in the amount of $15,000 (official check to be presented later) will be presented to Elm Street Hatboro for the Tanner Park playground. This is a grant from Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region to help fund their handicapped-accessible playground equipment. The ribbon containing $500 is designated for the "Brick Walkway Project" connecting Springdale Avenue into Tanner Park.

The Hatboro YMCA will receive a $1,000 check for their Strong Kids Program and the Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will also receive $1,000 to help support this year's Christmas Parade.
